Accept People As They Are!

Judging a person does not define who they are. It defines who you are.
Accepting people does not itself mean agreeing with them, approving of them, waiving your own rights, or downplaying their impact upon you.
Romans 15:7 says, “Accept one another just as Christ accepted you.” That’s a game-changer. We’ve got two choices—accept or reject. And trust me, choosing acceptance can transform how we resonate with others.
When we criticize or try to “fix” someone, it screams, “You’re not enough.” Nobody’s perfect—not you, not me. We’re all learning, growing, messing up, and trying again. So why do we act like others need to have it all together?
Rejecting people feeds the lie that they’re worthless. But accepting them? That says, “You’re valuable, just as you are.”
Accepting someone doesn’t mean you co-sign their mistakes. It means you see their worth, even if they’re different or don’t share your beliefs.
Many people are hurting, and they know they need to change. What they often don’t know is HOW.
Every encounter is a choice: Love or judge. Accept or change. Uplift or tear down.
Spoiler alert—you can’t change people anyway. That’s God’s job. Our job is to love them, differences and all.
Choose acceptance.
Smile at someone who’s different
Listen without judging
Show love without strings
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER, THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE!
