Adversity

One day, you will tell the story of how you overcame what you went through and it will be someone else's survival guide.
Eighteen years ago I went through Prostate Cancer Surgery. Each time I hear of someone who is facing the same thing, I try to reach out to support and encourage them through it.
I am convinced that every trial I have faced has been allowed by God for my ultimate good.
Trials need not steal our joy. God is never more present than when we are suffering. Until we embrace our trials in total submission to God, we will not recognize the good.
If you are fearfully speeding through a dark tunnel on a train, you don't open the door and jump out. You have faith in the conductor to get you through it! And when you get to the other side, you can share your story, which could be an encouragement to someone who is facing the same dark tunnel!
Every adversity proceeds an opportunity!
Like I always say,
When God closes one door, He always opens another. . . But it's hell in the hallway!
