Kindness is real. It comes from the heart and is rarely glamorous. Someone once said: "Unexpected kindness is the most powerful, least costly, and most underrated agent of human change."
Simple, unexpected acts of kindness or generosity can make a significant difference in people's lives, often more so than elaborate or expensive efforts.
Being kind is giving even when it seems like you have nothing to give. Kindness is making someone smile if only for a moment. Kindness can be the greatest gift that you can give a person, especially when they are not expecting it. Sometimes it's just as simple as texting a friend just to say, "Hello" or to encourage them!
Kindness is . . .
Powerful:
Unexpected kindness can have a transformative effect on individuals and relationships, leading to a sense of connection.
Inexpensive:
Acts of kindness are generally not costly and don't require substantial resources or effort.
Underrated:
Kindness often goes unnoticed and under-appreciated, resulting in it being underused.
Remember there's no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end. AMEN!
Kindness can become its own motive. We are made kind by being kind.
Life is an echo. What you send out, comes back. What you sow, you reap. What you give, you get. What you see in others, exists in you. -- Zig Ziglar
PRACTICE . . . Random acts of kindness!
An easy way to express kindness is by leaving thoughtful, sincere notes for others -- often left anonymously -- to brighten their day. They don't have to be elaborate but they should be written from your heart, containing simple compliments expressing your appreciation or support.
Ideas for notes:
"You can do it!"
"Thank you for making the world a kinder place."
"I appreciate you."
"You are loved."
Deliberately find ways to practice kindness!
Like I always say: TRUE KINDNESS IS LOVING PEOPLE MORE THAN THEY DESERVE.
