For many of us the term “aging” is a negative. Relative to our adult lives we want to avoid it,
cover it,
hide it,
surgically modify it,
and reverse it
to stay youthful, vibrant, and beautiful.
As you grow older, real beauty travels from the face to the heart. Appeal turns to charm, hurt to wisdom, and great moments to shared memories. The true beauty of life is not how happy you are now, but how happy others are because of you.
Don't judge yourself on how you think you look. More importantly, judge yourself on the way you make others feel. That's true inner beauty!
How old are you?
How does your self-appraisal compare when you view yourself from the inside versus the outside?
If there is one thing I’ve learned in my years on this planet, it’s that the happiest and most fulfilled people are those who devoted themselves to something bigger and more profound than merely their own self interest. -John Glenn
It would be helpful to change our perspective on the aging process.
It helps us see what we’ve been given and gained with all the days gone by.
LIVE GRATEFULLY EACH UNREPEATABLE DAY!
Sometimes when I’m not paying attention, I recall that saying and it kind of jump starts me into action and reminds me of how blessed I am!
