Like I always say . . . .
"It's never too late to have a happy childhood!"
I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and affection for my 80th birthday. Thanks to all of you for taking time out of your busy day to remember me. Thanks to Karen and Karlie for making it so special and spoiling me like they do everyday. I AM BLESSED!
My dad used to say said, "the older you get the faster time goes" . . .and I totally agree!
One advantage of getting older is that God has had more time to bless me with many more friends. Some of you I might have just met, others I have known most of my life. You have laughed with me, cried with me, and put up with all of my quotes and stories. . .
And as you all know, at 80 years old, I have got a lot of them.
Getting older, you also realize the most important things in life are not "THINGS." It's about love, laughter, friendships, the support and the encouragement from those you care about.
I SINCERELY LOVE YOU ALL!
I have had many and ups and downs and changes in my life. But God has always had His hand on me. . . even when I didn't realize it. He WAS ALWAYS in control.
The Bible says, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart I have overcome the world."
Ask Him to be your Lord and Savior today!
You'll never regret it!
