When helping the poor or those in need it is essential to remember:

The act of giving and helping others should stem from genuine compassion and a desire to make a positive impact in someone's life, rather than from a need for recognition or validation.

If you think you're a good person and you see a need and you don't do anything about it,

    YOU'RE GOOD FOR NOTHING!

When God lays on your heart to give someone something we should do it with a cheerful heart. Leave the camera at home.

Commit to privacy and respect for those who are receiving assistance! In many instances, the act of documenting charitable efforts can inadvertently shift the focus from the recipients to the giver, transforming a selfless act into a spectacle. The individuals in need are not mere subjects for our social media feeds or personal portfolios, but rather human beings with their own dignity, stories, and struggles. Respect their privacy!

    Unselfishness is the key!

Many individuals experiencing poverty may feel vulnerable or exposed, and having a camera pointed at them can confuse your intention to help. By prioritizing their comfort and dignity, we not only honor their humanity but also pave the way for more effective and compassionate assistance. In essence, when we choose to help, our focus should be solely on the act of giving and the impact it has on the lives of others.

Jesus said ' if you give a cup of cold water to a stranger, you've done it unto Me.

FOCUS ON THE JOY OF GIVING! Leave your camera at home.

Who needs a selfie when you can share a heartwarming story instead?
