Regrets . . .

Regret is defined as a complex emotion caused by wishing you had made a different decision in the past.
During my school years, I ought to have focused more on my studies and perhaps even considered attending college. However, in hindsight, I didn't feel it was necessary to study because my mom and dad frequently told me 'I already knew everything'. And I believed them!
When you are 25 you look back on your 18-year-old self and think that many of your previous decisions were really dumb!
When you get to be 35 you think the choices you made ten-years ago weren't very wise. Then comes 55 and things are changing. You are not the youngest guy in the room anymore and some people even think you're 'old', just because you prefer Elvis over Bad Bunny. In fact, you don't even don't know who Bad Bunny is but you're pretty sure he wasn't in the Easter Parade.
Then comes 80 — when you're expected to be wiser, yet it feels like the wheels on the bus are beginning to wobble!
As I grow even older, I often regretted not going to college, wondering if I missed an opportunity for better financial stability. But I've come to understand that God governs my life and that I am hopefully where He intended for me to be.
Don't hold on too tightly to regrets that came from making the wrong decisions.
The issues we considered crucial at that time, ultimately turned out to be insignificant in the long run.

"Those who read my blog are happier, more intelligent and better looking than those who don’t, according to a study that I made up."
