Steps and Stops!

Zig Ziglar always said "You do not have to be great to start, but you must start to be great."
But what happens when you don't really know when to start or which way to go?
In my life whenever I started something new, I believed that God had guided me in that direction. Even after having given it my best effort, it often didn’t work out as I had planned. I realized then, that God not only initiates projects but sometimes stops them as well!
God not only orders our Steps. He also orders our Stops!
In what ways does God direct our Steps and our Stops?
He might involve others in your life to guild or advise you.
He may provide opportunities or situations which are helpful.
He may even allow a roadblock or 'pothole' put there for a reason.
I firmly believe God has led my steps through some of the greatest lessons in my life -- not just the successes, but the failures as well. As many of you know, a lot of the career decisions I have made didn't work out.
GOD will guide our steps if we ask.
But do we ever ask Him to direct our Stops?
In the end, when we learn to trust GOD more, things often work out for the best!
When GOD closes one door, HE always opens another. But sometimes . . . it's Hell in the hallway!
