A successful executive was proudly driving his new Jaguar down a neighborhood street with cars parked on both sides and children playing in the yards. All of a sudden, he was shocked when a brick smashed into his car door. He stopped and angrily confronted a little boy, asking him: 'Why did you throw that brick at my car?"

With tears in his eyes, the boy explained that his brother had fallen from his wheelchair, and he had no one to help lift him back up. The executive helped the boy get his brother back into the wheelchair and cared for his scrapes.

The driver was so deeply touched by this incident, he decided not to repair the car's dent, keeping it as a reminder. As you rush through your own life, try to stay sensitive to the needs of those around you.

Next time someone throws a brick at you, ask yourself: 'What is God trying to teach me?'

God often speaks to our hearts!

But sometimes, it takes 'a brick' to get your attention.
