In the far east, they have something called a Chinese Bamboo tree which takes five years to grow. It requires watering and fertilizing every day. After five long years of watering and caring for what looks like a barren plot, the tree doesn’t just peek out of the soil. Oh no, it blasts into the sky like a leafy green rocket, reaching a jaw-dropping 90-feet in just five weeks. Groundbreaking stuff, literally!
Now the question is, does it grow 90-feet tall in five-weeks or in five-years? The answers is obvious, it grows 90-feet tall in five years, because at any time, had someone stopped watering, nurturing and fertilizing the tree it would have died in the ground.
The bamboo has been growing all along—just beneath the surface. Each drop of water fed its roots, and each day transformed unseen potential into reality. As in our lives or careers, its all about doing our best consistently! Long before the results are visible to others!

Friends and family might say: "Have you ever thought of making another career change or even "Why don't you get a real job?"
DON'T GIVE UP!
Don't become discouraged because it looks like nothing is happening.
Don't listen to the negativity of others who don't have the same vision or drive as you! After all, they don't built monuments to critics!
I'm sure Orville and Wilbur often heard . . . "That thing will never fly!"
So the next time someone comments on your ‘invisible growth project,’ just smile and say, “I’m growing a Chinese Bamboo Tree over here!”
