    It's About Time

In a small town square stood a beautiful clock, serving as the community's focal point and pride. No one remembers how long it had been there.

The Town Clock wasn't just a timepiece. No -- this beautiful clock was a sort of time compass to all those who walked by -- a symbol of unity and reliability for everyone. And almost every time a resident would pass, he or she would glance up and synchronize their own watch, making sure their watch was correct.

Everyone assumed it was the bad storm that passed by last week, but nobody knew for sure how the glass face of the clock got shattered. But whatever it was, left behind a smashed clock face, jagged edges and hands frozen in place.

The news spread quickly. The town clock was broken. But still, one by one as the residents passed by the clock each morning, they would check their own watches hoping that the clock had been fixed.

One day a visitor took it upon himself to to reset the Town Clock based on his watch.

Later that day, someone with the same good intensions reset the frozen clock hands to the time on their watch, and others did the same thing, changing the Clock to align with their own watches.

The Town Clock, once a symbol of reliability, could no longer be depended upon. The people began to argue with each other according to the setting on their own watch.

The broken clock, which had once been accurate, was no longer reliable , leaving everyone to navigate their day in a state of confusion. Nobody knew the correct time.

In our own daily lives, we all need a benchmark of dependability, a never-compromising source of truth -- a standard of reliability! For me, it's the Bible.

The Bible is like the big clock. What would happen if everyone came along and reworded the Bible according to their own opinion?

GOD'S WORD IS never changing, THE SAME -- YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER!
