Serving Others

Just because somebody is serving you,
doesn’t mean they’re beneath you.
Never assume that anyone serving you is less important than you. Just because they are wearing the uniform of a waiter, waitress, barber, mechanic or Uber driver, doesn't mean they are beneath you. We don't have to belittle others to make ourselves look better.
What we "do" does not define who we are.
The next time you find yourself in a position of power and receiving service, remember that a simple smile, a heartfelt thank you, or a generous tip can make a world of difference. Let us strive to create an environment where everyone feels valued and is appreciated.
"The true greatness of a person, in my view, is evident in the way he or she treats those with whom courtesy and kindness are not required.
Little people belittle people. Great people make people feel great!
When someone belittles you or treats you poorly don't take it personally. It says nothing about you but a lot about them.
It is through our shared respect and compassion that we truly elevate one another.
Never look down on other people unless you are willing to help them up!

"Those who read my blog are happier, more intelligent and better looking than those who don’t, according to a study that I made up."
