KNOWLEDGE IS KNOWING STUFF . . .
. . . wisdom is knowing what to do with it -- the "why" and "how" that comes from experience and judgment. Wisdom is more important than knowledge.
Think of knowledge as the ingredients list and wisdom as the chef who makes the dish palatable (or at least doesn’t burn the kitchen down).
Bill Murray once said: knowledge is like underwear. It's useful to have it but not necessary to show it off.
Wisdom is not having all the answers. Wisdom is knowing what you don’t know and having the humility to ask someone who does. Wise people maintain a balanced attitude, recognizing the limits of their knowledge, being open-minded, and possessing intellectual humility.
People who need wisdom often don’t want it. People who have wisdom generally only share it with those who will receive it. But if you have wisdom to share, always wrap it in love.
Life offers its' wisdom generously. Everything teaches. Not everyone learns. The Best teachers are those who show you where to look, but don't tell you what to see.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. - Proverbs 1:7
May my actions and the words that I speak always be filled with the light and life of God to benefit and bless others.
